Lately, I worked on too many miniatures at once and I decided to finish all of them so I can progress to new ones and I gave a little time between commissions. This is the Spirit of Sky bust made by Bigchild Creatives and I think it's a very specific miniature because you can easily just show two photos of it because it's sculpted and positioned just like a portrait. I painted her probably half of a year but just from time to time to generate materials for Patreon. It was a very interesting exercise in achieving different material textures and variations of leather. She is painted in my more standard way without a strong ambiance but I also think she looks more realistic this way and it fits the more historical topic of this bust. Also, it was super cool to work with metallic paints and I must say it is so easy to achieve a very good effect with them and also filter them to position light sources. I must paint more with metallic paints in the future. Let me know what you think about this one. P.S.
