Warhammer 40K: Psychic Awakening – Pick Your Pairings
We’ve got a challenge for you readers – who’s fighting who in the remaining Psychic Awakening books?
There are only a handful of armies left for Psychic Awakening. With the field narrowed down so much, we figured it was time to make some guesses as to who’s fighting who! And we figured we’d let the community get in on the fun by throwing down the gauntlet and asking you to come up with a bracket of your own.
The Remaining Armies
Currently, we have all the official announcements marked off.
- Phoenix Rising – Aledari and Drukhari
- Faith & Fury – Sisters of Battle (according to the lore and website), Space Marines, and Chaos Marines
- Blood of Baal – Blood Angels and Tyranids
- Ritual of the Damned – Dark Angels, Thousand Sons, Grey Knights
- The Greater Good – T’au, Genestealer Cult, Astra Militarum
- Saga of the Beast – Orks vs ???
- Engine War – Adeptus Mechanicus, Imperial Knights, Chaos Knights, Chaos Daemons
Now, we also know that Saga of the Beast sure sounds like it’s probably going to have Space Wolves facing Orks. Then again, everyone thought Death Guard were fighting the T’au in Greater Good and the disappointment is apparent. So we haven’t marked the Space Wolves off the available army lists yet.
With that said, we’re asking you to come up with the pairings YOU want to see. Bonus points if you explain why. Here’s an example:
Harlequins vs Deathwatch vs Necrons – We’ve seen Harlequins fight Deathwatch in a boxed set before and Necrons are Xenos and Deathwatch do hunt Xenos.
Death Guard vs Custodes – It’s a match-up of Corruption vs the Incorruptible. The Emperor’s Golden Boys vs the Filthy Followers of Nurgle.
