AoS Warcry: Sneak A Peek At The Fyreslayer Warband
The Fyreslayer Warband appears in the next White Dwarf, but we’ve got a preview of their warband for you right here. So grab your runes and dive in.
The latest White Dwarf is a 160-page mega-size issue that is chock full of exciting rules. The Ironsunz get their sweet rules update, which give them all kinds of kunnin’ stratagies–you can read about those right here. But Orruks aren’t the only thing getting some cool rules in the latest issue.
We’re also taking a look at the mohawk-haired, ur-gold runed, under-pants wearing warriors of the Fyreslayers. At least, we hope they’re wearing underpants. At any rate, Fyreslayers are getting a Warcry warband, and here’s a look at their special abilities.
As you can see, you’ve got Auric Hearthguard as well as Hearthguard and Vulkite Berzerkers to play with in your Warband, and a variety of abilities that make you surprisingly killy–with their ability to trap targets, make extra attacks, and fight harder even (or especially) when they’re heavily wounded, this is an army that starts dishing out the punishment and doesn’t stop.
Now while there are a ton of different models, we’re going to show off the Warcry cards for three of their leaders. Let’s take a look at what they bring to the table.
Each of these leaders packs a sizable punch, and coming in at a little under 200 points, they’re worth their points. With powerful attacks and the ability to repeat them, these models are sure to carve a bloody swath through whatever warband happens to be in their way.
