As part of their new “Stay at home, play at home” initiative, Roll20 is offering a suite of RPG features for free, including the first adventure out of Explorer’s Guide to Wildemount.

With everyone being directed to stay at home, Roll 20 has launched their “Stay At Home, Play At Home” initiative, a program which makes many of Roll20’s custom digital content available for free to all users, whether they’re free or pro subscribers–there are different packets available for the different tiers of account, but one thing everyone can enjoy is a free new starter adventure from the Explorer’s Guide to Wildemount. Let’s take a look at the new adventure, Frozen Sick, as well as the rest of the features you can enjoy when you Stay At Home, Play At Home.

Frozen Sick takes players into the frozen lands of Eisselcross in search of the cure for a deadly disease, inadvertently brought back to the town of Shadycreek Run… hmm, I know this book was published ahead of time, but, uh… Matt Mercer or whoever wrote this one might want to play the lotto, is all I’m saying.

It’s a more investigative adventure, and is a great pick for DMs looking to have players investigate a mystery. There’s a very Balto kind of feel to this adventure, as players race across the frozen landscapes of the Biting North. Critters looking to explore the lands of Eisselcross will find this adventure a fantastic tour of that region, packed full of plenty of roleplaying and dramatic moments, as well as the same kind of dungeon complexes that are the hallmark of some of Critical Role’s more combat heavy sessions. The twists and turns make this a great starter adventure for players of any experience level, and characters of 1-3rd level.

But that’s far from the only thing you can get as part of Roll20’s new initiative. They’re rolling out a ton of content for players and DMs looking to get the most out of their online play.
