RPG: Modiphius Shuts Down Shipments Amid Lockdown, Launches The Dishonored RPG
A week of ups and downs for Modiphius sees them pause all physical shipments, but even that won’t halt the launch of the Dishonored RPG.
UK-based RPG company Modiphius, who has the IP-licensing game on lock with their soon-to-be published Fallout and Dune games, has been hit by the country’s lockdown. For now this means pausing all shipments of physical products. You’ll still be able to secure .pdfs with no problem though, according to the official statement.
Due to the lockdown in the UK, our warehouse has stopped processing any new shipments and only orders received by 10am this morning (24th March) will be shipped this week. We expect to resume shipments in May. Until then you can continue to purchase or pre-order and support us, and you will still get any PDF’s associated with the product as usual but your physical shipments will be sent once the warehouse re-opens.
Remember if you purchase a PDF from us or through DriveThruRPG, you can reclaim the price of the PDF against the physical book if you decide to purchase it in the future.

However, Modiphius is undeterred–forging ahead with the launch of their newly minted Dishonored RPG, which is available now as a PDF, with the expected physical launch slated for June. Here’s hoping folks. This one looks amazing, expect our official review very soon.
Dishonored the Roleplaying Game – $40.56
Award-winning rules developer Nathan Dowdell (Conan: Adventures in an Age Undreamed Of, Star Trek Adventures) has adapted the 2d20 System for Dishonored, focusing on fast-paced storytelling and showcasing the strange powers of the Void and the ever-present Chaos mechanics — all under the banner of the new Momentum System. Modiphius assembled a team of talented creatives, led by Federico Sohns (Nibiru RPG), to bring the essence of Dishonored’s universe to the tabletop.
The Dishonored roleplaying game will be released in a deluxe table-friendly hardcover digest book containing everything players will need to jump straight into the streets of Dunwall, with a comprehensive guide to storytelling in the Isles and a series of adventures that will take them on a journey of drama, intrigue, deception and occultism. Along with the book’s release, there will be custom dice and other accessories to add to the experience.
Players can take part in the kind of stealthy assassination missions that are central to the video games, but they can also play as explorers, couriers, duelists, and inventors, reflecting some of the games’ variety of colorful NPCs. The games’ central characters Emily and Corvo are also playable.
The book will be a 300 page volume, and has everything you need to start your adventure in the Empire of the Isles, including:
- An introduction to the Empire of the Isles, and an in-depth look at its history, its people and the struggles they face.
- A step-by-step guide to play the role of the Protagonists: from grim assassins and rugged criminals, to intrepid explorers and stoic crown loyalists.
- A host of antagonists and a myriad different story hooks to inspire you, from the harsh, cold lands of Tyvia to sunny Karnaca.
- Insight on the strange nature of the Void, as well as rules to harness the its reality-bending powers.
- “The Oil Trail”, a mini-campaign in four acts that serves as a perfect introduction to the City of Dunwall.
