Fantasy Flight Games: Naboo Royal N-1 Fighter Update
If you were looking to get your hands on the Limited Edition Naboo Royal N-1 Fighter, here’s how!
Originally planned for release at AdeptiCon, the Limited Edition Naboo Royal N-1 Starfighter Expansion Pack is going up for sale this weekend! Here’s Fantasy Flight Games with the details.
Attention Star Wars™: X-Wing pilots! Today we are happy to announce a new process for ordering the Limited Edition Naboo Royal N-1 Starfighter Expansion Pack. Players that wish to purchase one of these limited-edition expansions can register their interest here. Entries for this form will close Monday April 13th, at 11:59PM Central. One entry per player, please!
Starting early next week we will draw randomly from the registered players to distribute our stock of expansions. Players that are selected will receive an email with a one-time-use code good for redemption at the Asmodee webstore, which will allow them to purchase one limited-edition expansion. These codes will be good for one week from the date of issue, at which point any unpurchased expansions will be offered to more players from the form.
In addition to this change, we are pleased to be able to offer redemption codes directly to all players that had registered for the X-Wing System Open event at AdeptiCon. While we share your disappointment in the cancellation of the convention and tournament, we want to make sure those of you that had planned to attend are able to get an expansion of your own!
So there’s the rub – it’s kind of a lottery system. Sign-up if you’re interested and you’ll have a chance to purchase one of these limited edition ships. Plus, if you had registered for the X-Wing System Open, it sounds like you’ll get a crack at picking one up, too. That’s a nice consolation.
Functionally, it’s the same basic ship as the standard Naboo N-1, just with the alternate paint scheme. You’ll also get an alternate art card for Padmé Amidala too.
So if you DO miss out on your chance to purchase this ship…sorry. But at least you won’t be behind when you face them on the tabletop.
You could always repaint it yourself…
