The possible winners for year’s Hugo Awards have been announced. If you’re looking for something to read, this list has some excellent suggestions.

The Hugos were first presented in 1953 and are the longest running fan voted awards in sci-fi and fantasy. The awards recognize the work of professionals and fans, and folks from all over the publishing industry. Previous winners include Willam Gibson, Arthur C. Clark, Ursula K. Le Guin, and Neil Gaiman.

WorldCon has gone virtual this year due to health concerns, so the Hugo awards have as well. They will be announced online July 29 through August 2. You can see the full list of nominees here; it included artists, movies and tv series, fan, and retro categories.
