Watch parties have become all the rage in quarantine. The Russo Brothers did an Instagram stream last month of End Game that included surprise guest Robert Downey Jr., and other directors and celebrities have been taking to social media platforms to reach out to fans and raise funds for charity.
Tomorrow night, Lionsgate will be doing a live stream of 2014’s surprise action hit John Wick… a touching story about a man and his dog and a lot of guns.
Instead of a ticket fee, they’re asking for donations that will benefit the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Fountation and those in the motion picture industry affected by the coronavirus – especially those working in theaters, many of which have been closed since early March.
