GW Rumor Engine: Put An Owl On It

We’re not in Portland any more and that’s not any bird – it’s an owl. So…what does this Rumor Engine mean?

Alright folks we got a new Rumor Engine and this one is pretty clearly a bird of a specific kind of feather. Take a look for yourself!

“We’ve been treated to reveals of so many amazing miniatures lately, it’s surprising the Rumour Engine continues to find things we haven’t seen – yet here we are. Take a look at this week’s image! ”

It’s kinda…cute. Definitely not any plain ol’bird that you just slap on anything. Now of course we try to figure out what army or model this could be a part of. Well, I’m ruling out the Xenos of 40k. Except maybe the Aeldari. Probably not Chaos for either AoS or 40k. It could be some type of familiar for a 40k Inquisitor. They’ve had stranger beasts on their shoulders.

Then again, this isn’t really a very far-fetched creature…it’s an owl. Maybe it’s something for AoS – perhaps the old Wood Aelves are finally getting some more attention.

But honestly, this one isn’t much to go on. I think we might have to bank this Rumor Engine and just pull it up later. What do you think?
