The New Total War DLC Is Basically Mad Max Vs. Batman
Earlier today Creative Assembly announced a new DLC, “The Warden & the Paunch.” But they also announced Mad Max vs. Batman. Check it out.
By now we’ve all had a chance to look at the amazing new trailer for the Warden & the Paunch from Creative Aseembly. If you haven’t, it’s pretty great, it’s right here:
This DLC positions High Elves, led by Eltharion against the Greenskin forces of Grom the Paunch. But if you watched this trailer and are feeling STOKED and ready for WAAAGH!!! that’s because what you really just watched is Mad Max vs. Batman, and I did not realize just how badly I wanted that to exist in the world until I wrote that sentence. But yeah, let’s take a look at the trailer.

And here’s Immortan Joe, admonishing his followers not to become too addicted to water, lest they resent its absence. But, sure, there are plenty of “big boss addressing the crowd from on high” scenes out there. Let’s take a look at this horde of battle wagons…

But that’s not all. When it comes to references like these, always two there are. Consider Eltharion, doing what high elves do best, brooding.
