Geekery: ‘Umbrella Academy’ Season 2 First Look – New Time, New Hair
The hit series based on Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá’s Eisner Award comic book is back next month. The siblings confront the end of the world in a new era.

Today Netflix shared some on-set photos that reveal where the time jump took the siblings: the 1960s, specifically Dallas aka land of big hair. The second arc splits them up for a bit – where they meet new friends, have to deal with their own personal demons, and manage their new hair – because Number 5’s powers aren’t exactly reliable, but they eventually meet up and have to fight off another version of the apocalypse.
I loved the comics and how the first season captured the quirkiness and characters, so I’m definitely binge-watching season two. I hope we get a trailer soon.
The Umbrella Academy Season 2 arrives on Netflix on July 31st.
