Plastic Frostgrave Knights are soon coming with the release of Frostgrave second edition.

Right now, this boxed set is up on North Star Military Figures website for taking pre-orders. You can use these new plastic Knights to make up all of the special hirelings including Templars, Treasure Hunters, Marksmen and so many more.

In case you don’t know, Frostgrave is a great fantasy skirmish miniatures game by Osprey Games. In this game, Wizards duke it out over the ruins of a long destroyed ancient city in the search of magical artifacts. I loved the first edition and can’t wait to see what is in the second edition!!!

North Star Military Figures systematically released preview images of their upcoming plastic Frostgrave Knights miniatures boxed. I mined through their Facebook Page and brought those images over to this single location to make them easier for you to find. To me, these miniatures look pretty cool and they would be a nice addition to anyone’s Frostgrave collection.

As a heads up, these figures come 10 to a box. This means that if you were thinking of making a large number of them for Oathmark (or other mass combat games), you will have to buy a few boxes (not just one). For Frostgrave, one is all you need unless you feel the urge for more.

Plastic Frostgrave Knights Sprue Contents

Inside the box, you will find a couple of sprues. Below is a rendering of the items on the sprue.

This box set is jam-packed with options!!! With 22 heads on the frame, it looks like you can make them fit in with any of the existing Frostgrave warbands out there. Well, maybe not with the Gnolls.

The above options give you what you need to build all of the advanced martial power soldiers (or heavily armored soldier) types in Frostgrave. I bet you could even use those parts for some fun kit-bashing.

More Images

Below are some more preview images of miniatures built from the Frostgrave Knights plastic miniatures set.

I can just feel the grunting coming off of this model. His pose and attire remind me of something out of a Conan movie.

If your opponent is wearing heavy armor, send this guy against him. That warhammer should pierce the steel.

A good old Marksman who rarely misses. If you see this guy, close the distance or hide quickly!

A nicely done Frostgrave Ranger. I made a lot of use of Rangers, Treasure Hunters and Thieves in the first edition of Frostgrave. I wonder how they will differ in second edition.

A good old fashioned Treasure Hunter. Again, a soldier class I used a lot of in the first edition. I heard they will not be as powerful in second edition.

What a nice looking warband of miniatures! Kev Dallimore did a fantastic job of painting them!

The five preview miniatures that Kev Dallimore painted all in one location. They look great!

Wrapping it up…

Thank you for joining me on this look at the new plastic knight miniatures for Frostgrave by North Star Military Figures and Osprey Games. It looks like it is going to be a very nice model kit once it releases. The release date is set as August 20th, 2020, and the box is available now for pre-orders.
