Warhammer 40K: What Old is New Again – FTN
We have a hearty jaunt around the universe and talk about Chaos, GSC, Guard, Tau, Eldar and Blood Angels. It’s a mixed bag but this is a 40k chat you’d get while hanging out at a game store.
Hey hey!
This is a mixed bag of a show but I love these. We keep things conversational as our style and in this episode I think we translate one of those conversations you’d get from a game store. Since those are getting a little harder to find we’re incredibly happy to share it. Please join in the comments.
In the last part of the first half Adam gets to live his best life and rant for a few minutes on T’au. He’s got a lot to share and packs it all in with true Adam C style.
We discuss a few ways to get cheap damage two weapons into your army. These are going to be needed more than ever as soon as those space marine wound changes come down the pipe. It’s hard to believe that we’re actually talking about the first born marines again but it’s also translated over to the Chaos half. This is awesome.
This may be me being over fatalistic but I would expect some point changes on the way for the first born but strangely I wouldn’t expect it for Chaos. They seem to be ‘where they need to be’ IF they all get the two wound treatment. It’s nice for us to think that the game was truly balanced before but the fact is no one was taking regular Chaos marines because they just weren’t good enough. With two wounds maybe they are. Let’s hope!
In the last half of the show I can’t take all the Tau talk and bust back into the conversation to talk about Blood Angels. If you picked up 24 Sanguinary Guard before then you’re still in a great spot. the weapon options may change but thankfully that kit comes with a lot of bits.
