Warhammer 40k: Chaos Can Beat Space Marines – FTN
Chaos is good but you have to work for it. Will you serve the Dark Gods?
Hey folks,
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – Strong bad guys make for an exciting game. Chaos is one of the major evil super factions in this game and it’s so nice to hear there is still life in this faction. We talk about what’s been working for TJ and get pretty deep in the weeds on Command Point strategies and synergies. Thanks for indulging us while we take these strolls through the super combos.
I mention up top that Chaos needs a little work to be ‘good’ and it does. We’re just starting to realize how the landscape of the game is changing and that evolution is busting open the door to what lists are viable. I’m a big believer in playing what you want to play but sometimes we have to show our friends that the old boss is still the new boss and play some heavy-hitting stuff.
I was especially happy to hear that the Great Unclean One was making an appearance on the tabletop again. I absolutely love this glorious model and look forward to painting up a few more Nurgle squads in the near future.
In the second part of the show, we round out the Chaos talk and then jump to a hobby segment where we talk about the dreaded Mold Lines. They creep up when you least suspect it all the time. The time to address them is when you see it. It may be painful to scrape down a surface that’s already been painted but you’ll always feel better once you’ve fixed it. Send us some pics!
