At long last, the Space Marine and Necron codexes are going up for pre-order, along with loads of new minis including the Silent King himself!

A massive 40K weekend is coming up, with both Space Marine and Necron Codexes going up for pre-order, alongside six new miniatures, one of whom is the Silent King, here at last to Awaken the Necron Dynasties. Let’s take a look.

First things first, Codex Space Marines is out for pre-order this weekend. It has been a long time coming–the new edition of 40K was announced back at the beginning of Summer and it’s been a weird release window ever since, but here we are. This is sort of the real start of it all–points, statlines, new reasons to pick up Intercessors.

Alongside the new Space Marine codex, there’s a wave of new miniatures. You’ll get the Primaris Invader ATV, which comes with its onslaught gatling cannon and multi-melta and strange boxy design that’s as aerodynamic as a brick.

Or if you’d like something faster, maybe ready to roll out at the head of your White Scars, check out the new Primaris Chaplain on bike.

Or if you want a little more firepower in your arsenal, you might try the Firestrike Servo-turret, which can be outfitted with autocannons or las-talons, depending on what you need.

For those of you who either are foul xenos heretics, or support the true rulers of the galaxy (depending on whose propaganda you listen to), the Necrons Codex is out as well, kicking off a new era for everyone’s favorite undead but not really robots.

Alongside that, you get Szarekh, the Silent King, returned from the depths of space and ready to issue decrees from up on high while his C’tan Shard handles backup dancing behind him.

Or give your Destroyers a much-needed upgrade with the new Lokhust Heavy Destroyer, which carries a six-barreled necron weapon, making it 50% more powerful than other big Necron weapons.

Finally you can field a machine worthy of waging a war of the worlds with the new Canoptek Doomstalkers, who look like they’re ready to crash into a farm outside of Grovers Mill.

All this next week!
