Star Wars: Legion – Anakin Skywalker Commander Preview
It’s time to take a look at the Chosen One himself – Commander Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Legion.
Anakin Skywalker was destined to leave his mark on the galaxy. As a youth, he helped win the battle of Naboo. Since then, he’s gone on to become a Jedi Knight and revered battlefield commander. Leading Clones of the Galactic Republic’s army into battle, he is a force to be reckoned with. Today, we’re getting a closer look at his abilities on the tabletop in Star Wars: Legion.
“Anakin Skywalker played a major role in some of the most pivotal events of the Clone Wars, from the very first battle on Geonosis to the final days of the Republic. This expansion reflects his evolution as both a general and a combatant throughout this conflict, especially as a Force user. Beginning the war as a padawan, Skywalker quickly grew into a respected Jedi General and his unique abilities are on full display here. “
Anakin is the only character in the game who can use cards like Anger while also being a Light Side Force user. On the flip side, this does give your opponent the ability to mess with him on the tabletop.
Anakin also has some new command cards that come with a new Permanent Keyword. Just as the name implies, these stick around and allow Anakin to build up his strength as the battle progresses.
Anakin can also switch-hit from a Defensive to an Offensive stance. Close the gap and then unleash your inner fury!
Anakin Skywalker also care about his troops. He’s got the ability to toss out a Force Barrier to help keep himself or friendly units alive.

Anakin Skywalker is one of the enduring heroes of the Clone Wars.
