Warhammer 40k: From the North the Space Wolves Come Forth – FTN
Space Wolves are back in a big way. If this is any indication of the future of Marine supplements I am very hopeful for the BA, DA, and the rest.
Hey all,
I think the Space Wolves have everything they need to create dynamic army lists and there is a lot of depth to this book. If you want to shoot you can shoot, if you want to assault you can assault. Do you like Psychic Powers? They have you there too. We don’t all feel the same ways on the show though.. What do you think?
Personally, I think long-term Space Wolves players are really going to enjoy their collection. There seem to be ways to build either a take all comers style list or to really focus down and load up on one particular play style or another.
The codex seems to go a slightly different way than maybe we expected with the index published a few weeks ago but it’s not bad, it’s just different. We should see a big return of Thunder Wolf Calvary and Wolf Lords on the Thunder Wolves too. We may see the special characters sidelined in this book in favor of people making their own custom HQs. That’s not bad either since now for the first time ever the Space Wolves have Successor Chapters. Are you kidding me?!
A lot of the fun and unique qualities of the Space Wolves come out in the base data sheets and the Stratagems. What do you think?
