GW: ‘Win Your Basket’ Promo From Games Workshop
Log in, load up a shopping cart, and cross your fingers at a chance to win a basket full of goodies from GW!
Games Workshop has run a lot of contests and promos in the past but this one seems like one of the easiest to participate in. To promote their new “My Warhammer” shopping and account management system, they are offering fans a chance to win up to “£300 worth of goodies” – obviously Terms and Conditions apply. But it’s as easy as logging in, loading up a cart, and …waiting.
Win your basket
When you connect your accounts, you could be in with a chance of winning some Warhammer goodies of your choosing. Start by following these simple steps to connect your games-workshop.com and ForgeWorld.co.uk accounts to My Warhammer.
1.Sign in to My Warhammer, or create an account – it’s really simple.
2.Link your existing accounts for Games Workshop and Forge World, if you’ve got them.
3.Sign in to games-workshop.com using your My Warhammer username and password.
4.Fill your online shopping basket with models and books before 8am (GMT) on the 25th of February. Don’t check out. Just… leave it in there and chill.
5.That’s it! We’ll choose five My Warhammer accounts with a full shopping basket and give them up to £300 worth of goodies.
My Warhammer is also the account you would use to sign into your Warhammer App – so if you’ve been using that, you’ve already got an account. So really the hard part is picking out £300 in total goodies. It’s a digital shopping spree wish-list. It could be a fun way to kill some time while you’re waiting for your other deliveries to arrive.
If you want to read the full details, do that HERE. And for all the legal stuff, check HERE.
The start and stop times are:
- Start – 8.00 a.m. (GMT) on Thursday 18th February 2021
- Stop – 8.00 a.m. (GMT) on Thursday 25th February 2021
So get your cart loaded up between now and then to enter. Oh and this is a fun side bar from the Ts&Cs for our Canadian readers:
“If a name is drawn which belongs to a resident of Canada, they must correctly answer a skill-testing question in order to win a prize, in accordance with Canadian law.”
I kind of want to know what the question will be…hopefully it’s not too tough.
Edit: One other noteworthy piece of info (thanks Spade McTrowel)
2.2. The competition is open to residents worldwide, excluding the U.S. state of Rhode Island and the Canadian province of Quebec.
If you use the App already, what are you waiting for?! And if you don’t have an account…wait, don’t sign up. Better chances for ME to win…
