There’s a new scholar in town. And he’s looking to drop some knowledge on the so-called heroes of Ulfenwatch. Meet Torgillius the Chamberlain!

Games Workshop has revealed a new dastardly villain from the Cursed City and this one has an affinity for necromancy. Torgillius the Chamberlain is not a friendly scholar. Check him out!

via Warhammer Community

“Ulfenkarn was once home to the brotherhood of sepulchrists known as the Pact Mortalis. Torgillius was a member of their order but turned his back on them, taking their research into grave-sand phylacteries and throwing in his lot with the vampires that came to rule the city.

The chamberlain’s knowledge of grave-sand means that his master can now deflect wounds that would otherwise destroy him, making Torgillius one of the most trusted men in the Cursed City. He has also developed the ability to project his will into the diseased vermin in the city, allowing him to spy upon the populace.”

You can bet he’s going to have lots of nasty tricks and surprises in store for the brave adventurers who attempt to tackle this fiend’s plots and schemes. This marks the third of five of the Overlords of Ulfenkarn to be revealed. We also know from the interactive map that he makes his home in the Barrowmark:

And we can also see his cartoon in the lower left as well. At this point, we’ve seen Gorslav the Gravekeeper and Watch Captain Halgrim.

There is only one more of the “cartoons” in the image and then we’ll probably meet the Big Bad. Which I’m guessing is this character from the cinematic:

Things are looking pretty good for this release in general. The models have been great looking and I’m personally really excited about this new boxed game from GW. I’m hoping the gameplay and campaign is just as engaging as everything else about the Cursed City. Here’s hoping!

What do you think of the latest villain? Are you excited about this new game from GW?
