Warhammer Quest: Cursed City – Radukar The Wolf
Meet the vampiric Ogor who has imposed his will on the Cursed City of Ulfenkarn – Radukar The Wolf!
The vampire aristocracy of Ulfenkarn (aka Mournhold) is led by the Ogor Vampire known as Radukar the Wolf. Today we’re taking a closer look at the warlord who became the city’s ruler and is the “Big Bad” of the upcoming Warhammer Quest: Cursed City!
Radukar the Wolf
When Radukar was still mortal, he was a feared warlord. He led his men on raids up and down the coasts of Shyish from his dreaded flagship The Impaler’s Gift. The doubled-headed wolf skin that he wears as a cloak is actually from a mighty beast who once guarded the tomb of the ancient vampire emperor Morkan. I wonder if that has something to do with his nickname “The Wolf” – nah, probably a coincidence.
Actually, the wolf is even more important to his story – Radukar killed the wolf with his bare hands so that he could claim an ensorcelled barrow-blade from the tomb. This was what proved him to be worthy of the Blood Kiss. And that weapon is one he still carries.
It might looks rusted and pitted – because it is. However, it still strikes terror into those who are hit by and it leaves some pretty gnarly wounds, too.
“In undeath, Radukar’s power matches his ambition and savagery. Alongside a horde of ogors bound to his service, the Wolf King’s raids became even more unhinged and violent. Eventually, he made his way to the prosperous city of Mournhold, which would be forever changed under his rule – saving it from a daemonic host in return for a position of power. The noble houses of the city would come to regret forming an alliance with a vampire before the end…”
His bloody march to ruling the city really kicked off when the Necroquake happened and the powers of Undeath were flug across the Mortal Realms. Radukar the Wolf now rules over the city of Ulfenkarn with a crimson-iron fist. He and his vampires are free to feed on the city as they see fit.
Unfortunately, he’s made a few enemies along the way and those adventurers are returning to the city for various reason. Will they be able to break his grip on the city and it’s populace and bring this nightmare to an end? One way to find out…
Warhammer Quest: Cursed City is coming soon from Games Workshop. Face off against Radukar the Wolf and take on his undead hordes on the way to the Ebon Citadel. It’s going to be a bloody good time!
