Age of Sigmar: Ride with the Ossiarch Empire Horrek’s Dreadlance
The Ossiarch Bonereapers are getting a new Boxed Set with a warscroll battalion – let’s check out Horrek’s Dreadlance!
Broken Realms: Teclis provides a huge amount of lore and updates for the Lumineth Realm-lords, but that’s not all. There are also 4 more warscroll battalions included. We’re taking a closer look at the Ossiarch Bonereaper battalion. It works for anyone running the infamous Stalliarch Lords.
Relentless Attackers grants you a way to get back your Relentless Discipline points on a 4+ when you use a unit in this formation’s Rally Back command. Rally Back is a Stalliarch Lords specific ability that allows them to retreat and charge in the same turn.
The Command Trait must be Twisted Challenge which is the default Stalliarch Lords Command Trait. It provides your general (in this case Liege-Kavalos Horrek Venzai) with a +1 to hit vs a particular enemy hero and a -1 to hit against any other target.
And finally we have the default Artifact of Power for the Stalliarch Lords which is the Nadir-bound Mount. This artifact boosts the Liege’s Unstoppable Charge with an additional D3 dice.
Overall this Warscroll Battalion really just adds a way to return some Relentless Discipline Points back after spending them – it’s not a bad battalion to run if you’ve got the points for it and you were already running Stalliarch Lords as your sub-faction. Because you’re running a battalion this would also allow you to grant an artifact to another hero in your list which could be good, too. If you wanted to run a cavalry heavy OBR list this seems like a good fit as well.
I suppose the real question becomes “is this ‘character’ better than Arch-Kavalos Zandtos?” That’s debatable and again goes back to if you’re running Stalliarch Lords or not. And also the point difference. So keep that in mind when you’re looking at this new battalion. Personally, I might consider running Stalliarch Lords just to check this one out on the tabletop.
Broken Realms: Horrek Venzai – Horrek’s Dreadlance

This box also saves you money compared to getting the models separately!
This set contains 10 Kavalos Deathriders miniatures, plus a Liege-Kavalos. The Liege-Kavalos can alternatively be built as Arch-Kavalos Zandtos. The kit includes a variety of weapon options and accessories.
