Former D&D Beyond Founder Joins Demiplane RPG

Adam Bradford, founder of D&D Beyond, has joined with Demiplanem a new digital platform for tabletop RPGs.
After big shakeups at D&D Beyond, it looks like we can see where at least one of the devs has landed, and it’s in familiar territory. Announced just yesterday, D&D Beyond Founder Adam Bradford has joined Demiplane, a new digital tabletop platform, as the company’s Chief Development Officer.
This means that Bradford will be doing similar work to what he brought to D&D Beyond, notably working “directly on Demiplane’s product and community development efforts and is responsible for the platform’s continued user growth and experience.”
For folks unfamiliar with Deimplane, it’s a voice and video chat program with a number of tools that help players find a community:
Demiplane is an ever-expanding gaming experience that brings fans of roleplaying games together on one convenient platform with high-quality tools at your fingertips—including player matchmaking, live and interactive video capabilities, shared journals, task tracking, group inventory, dice rolling, tipping, in-app rewards, player and Game Master ratings, other features that manage in-and-out-of-game logistics, and much more to come.
In particular, they offer Matchmaking:
Finding players to join your story can be tedious and complicated. Demiplane’s matching engine and scheduling features manage in-and-out-of-game logistics so you can focus on the adventure at hand.

As well as Shared Notes:
Keep track of every quest, reward, and big moment for every game you play. With your notes only one-click away, you’ll never forget a nonplayer character name or how many gold pieces you earned again!
Launched in 2020 by lifelong friends and die-hard RPG players, Peter Romenesko and Travis Frederick, Demiplane looks to revolutionize how people engage with and enjoy roleplaying games
So if you enjoyed the work laid out at D&D Beyond, it sounds like Demiplane might well be worth investigating in the future.
Happy Adventuring!
