‘Nobody’ – Bob Odenkirk Shows Off His Fighting Skills in New Clip
Odenkirk is one nobody you don’t want to screw with, especially after the brutal training he went through for this new action movie.
If it feels a little familiar – John Wick creator Derek Kolstad wrote the script, original John Wick co-director David Leitch is a producer, and Ilya Naishuller (Hardcore Henry) directed. I can’t say no to good fight scenes, gun battles, and car chases – all peppered with one-liners. Bob Odenkirk is great, and he put in 2 years of work and gym time with trainer and fight coordinator Daniel Bernhardt (Captain America: Civil War, John Wick Chapter 2 & 3, Creed II) for this role.
Along with the punching skills, he also pulls off the ‘freshly beat up badass’ look fantastically.
The official synopsis…
Hutch Mansell, an underestimated and overlooked dad and husband, taking life’s indignities on the chin and never pushing back. A nobody. When two thieves break into his suburban home one night, Hutch declines to defend himself or his family, hoping to prevent serious violence. His teenage son, Blake, is disappointed in him and his wife, Becca, seems to pull only further away. The aftermath of the incident strikes a match to Hutch’s long-simmering rage, triggering dormant instincts and propelling him on a brutal path that will surface dark secrets and lethal skills. In a barrage of fists, gunfire, and squealing tires, Hutch must save his family from a dangerous adversary —and ensure that he will never be underestimated as a nobody again.
Nobody hits theaters March 26th.
