Warhammer 40K: Hot Takes from this Weekend’s Preview – FTN
The hottest of hot takes on this episode right here! We waited to record until directly after the Games Workshop preview on Saturday.
Hey all,
The hottest of hot takes on this episode right here… We waited to record until directly after the Games Workshop preview on Saturday. I’m glad we did, we saw a ton of brand new miniatures. Will this new Ork change the game?! We also run down our initial thoughts on the new Drukhari Codex.
There is a lot to go over from the GW preview. We saw releases across the board and I can honestly say I think I want to buy it all. It’s a blessing and a curse, ha!
Necromunda isn’t incredibly big in my area but it has dedicated followers and we have a consistent playgroup. I’ve always been a fan of the Redemptionist and the new figures do not disappoint. I can’t wait to get them in my hands. On the show, we also talk about other uses for some of these incredible models.
The Sisters are getting a new model we didn’t even know they needed. It looks like they are getting some sort of Predator variant. The Sisters have no shortage of models but it’s neat to see the range so fleshed out and no doubt adding to their army build variations.
After the break, we jump into our initial thoughts on the Drukhari codex. Red is a long-time player of the faction and has plenty of things to share.
The additional rules around the Blades For Hire keyword and special rules will absolutely please long-time players have that struggled to fit in beloved units that didn’t benefit from Army rules in the past and had hence been left on the shelves. No More!
