Warhammer Underworlds: Meet Hedkrakka & A New Model Teaser
It’s the leader of the upcoming Hedkrakka’s Mob Warband plus another warband model is teased!
We’ve seen the model for Hedkrakka already and today Games Workshop is pulling the curtains back revealing all the goodies about the leader from this warband. Time to get roped into a WAAAGH!!! of the most savage kind.
“Hedkrakka heard the voice of the violent god Gorkamorka speaking through his serpent familiar. It had a simple message for him and his Madmob – start the biggest hunt ever and slay Beastgrave, the living mountain. Of course, Bonesplitterz don’t worry about practicalities such as how to actually kill a mountain, so they set off across Ghur.”
Hedkrakka fills two roles in the warband. Not only is he the leader he is also their leader model!
He’s got a solid magical attack with range of 3 and the potential for 2 damage. He’s also got a solid 4 wounds as well. He’s not the fastest model on the board but 3 movement is respectable (he is an Orruk afterall).
Hedkrakka’s Mob is one of those warbands that can really do it all and it’s a matter of getting the right tools in the right spot to get the job done. You’ll have the ability to take out enemy models at range, up close, or jump on objectives. And taking those objectives is a great way to claim the Primacy token. And if you play your cards right, you might get to take an objective, gain the Primacy token, Inspire a fighter, AND score points:
That Primacy token is a big boon for this Warband in particular. But if you want to spread the love, you can also rock the Armour of Confidence in your deck:
Yep, that’s a generic card so anyone can take it.
A New Warband Approaches
One last teaser is ahead from the Warhammer Community crew. We’ve seen parts of this one before but we’re getting another look at this intimidating silhouette.
Yep! That’s gotta be an Ossiarch Bonereaper Warband and I’m here for that. We might finally have an answer for a Rumor Engine from last year:
Fingers crossed!
What do you think of Hedkrakka? What about the upcoming warband for the OBR?
