Warhammer Underworlds: New Model And Warband Reveals
Games Workshop is teasing the last new Warband for the season AND we get a new look a model coming soon!
It’s been a long time coming (and they won’t get here until for a couple months yet). But we’re finally getting a look at the first reveal from the Ossiarch Bonereaper’s warband for Warhammer Underworlds. Plus we’ve got a look at another model from the final warband. Let’s tackle these new images!
“Now, we’re not just going to show off any member of Kainan’s Reapers, oh no, we’re going to show off the main skeleton himself – say hello to Mir Kainan.”
Heck ya! The Ossiarch Bonereapers are joining the fray of Warhammer Underworlds and the Warband’s name is Kainan’s Reapers. Which is fitting based on Mir Kainan above given he’s packing that whole “reaper” vibe. I have many questions about this warband and this model. For starters, what type of hero is he? For that, I’m guessing a Mortisan Soulreaper. Based on the scythe and the many “phylactery” tubes he’s got. The headgear is also a big clue:
Once you see them both, it’s kind of obvious. With that said, Mortisan Soulreapers are also Wizards which would be appropriate for the current season as well. In any case, I’m looking forward to seeing what the REST of the warband looks like.
A New Warband Approaches
And the final Warband for this season is getting it’s first major tease. We’ve suspected who it could be for months now. But today confirmed a lot of suspicions.
“But who will be joining the Reapers as the final warband of season four? Looks like something fishy is going on with the updated road map.”
Hmm…something fishy you say? Sure looks like we’re getting some Idoneth Deepkin in June! Not only do we appear to have a flying fish, it’s base also has a similar look to their shipwreck themes:
It sure looks like it could be the internal structure of this wrecked boat on the base of that silhouette. Now I’m wondering what sorts of crazy fish the Idoneth Deepkin will be bringing to the tabletop in Warhammer Underworlds!
I can’t wait to see more from these warbands – we’ve got a few months left to wait so it’s time to let these reveals sink in for a bit. Anyone else getting excited for the future of Warhammer Underworlds?!
