Get a Sneak Peek at the Stargrave Rulebook
Whether you are getting in on the Stargrave Presales Campaign campaign or not, we have something interesting for you. This is a flip-through of the Stargrave Rulebook.
For those who don’t know, Stargrave is a skirmish-level miniatures game generally with 10 models per side. I personally would classify it as an “RPG Lite” style of miniatures game. In it, you run a crew of space adventurers off in search of their riches. Yep, the game is about collecting treasure. Whether you engage your enemies or not, what is most important is you come off the table richer than your opponents.
Between missions (or scenarios as known by others), you level up your two main characters and choose to buy upgrades for your crew and starship. You can even buy new crew members too if you prefer.
Overall, this game combines miniatures gaming with RPG leveling up aspects in a way that I find very satisfying. If you know of or like Frostgrave, the description above likely sounds familiar. This game is Frostgrave in space, and, in my opinion, that is a good thing.
