Warhammer 40K BREAKING: Updated Be’lakor Confirmed
Be’lakor is back with an updated set of rules for 9th edition. Take a look.
This image from a miniature assembly guide has been doing the rounds. It appears to be from the new Be’lakor kit. It is all over Reddit, and various forums.
Updated Be’lakor
Some items from the updated statlines& weapons:
- Movement changes from 14″ to 12″/8″/6″
- Strength changes from 6 to 8/7/6
- Toughness changes from 6 to 7
- Wounds change from 8 to 16!
- Attacks change from 6 to 6/5/4
- Save changes from 4+ to 6+
- Blade of Shadows has two new attack forms (see below)
Notes
So overall, Be’lakor is much more beefy than before. He wont be hiding any more with that impressive 16 wounds. While his innate save is 6+, he does have the already revealed Immortal vigour so he keeps his 4+(i) , and is additionally -1 to wound versus ranged attacks.
Shadow Form locks down the games dizzying array of to-hit re-rolls, so you have to hit him the old-fashioned way.
Be’lakor used to clock in at 220 points, and I would assume he will be nearing the Great Deamon cost levels when we get the full details. The Dark Master was fairly thin on special rules in the 8th Edition codex, but did have access to Dark Hereticus Discipline. In the Age of Sigmar he has a nasty puppetmaster ability to shut down an opposing unit. I can’t wait to see if he gets something similar in the Grimdark.
All hail the Dark Master!
