Warhammer Next Week: Dominion Is Here For Pre-Order
Coming next week, Dominion is here at last–and with it, a glorious new edition for the Age of Sigmar. Come take a look at what awaits you.
It’s Dominion day next weekend, with the official pre-order release of a brand new edition and the biggest and best Age of Sigmar boxed set that’s ever been put together. There’s a whole lot coming out, so let’s get right to it.

First up, Dominion. This boxed set is huge. It comes with two armies, featuring all-new units, and a brand new subfaction of Orruks, the Kruleboyz. Alongside that, as you can see, you’ll also get the updated Core Book, a special boxed campaign, and warscroll cards for everything. Here’s what you’ll get in each army:
The Stormcasts come with a Lord-Imperatant and accompanying Gryph-hound, a spell-casting Knight-Arcanum, a Knight-Vexillor with Banner of Apotheosis, three each of the elite Praetors and Annihilators, and 10 Vindictors, as well as Yndrasta, the Celestial Spear, a legendary Stormcast hero.
On the Kruleboyz side of things, you’ll get a horde of new minis, including a pair of Killabosses, one on Gnashtoof, one accompanied by a Stabgrot, as well as a Swampcalla Shaman and Pot-grot minion, a Murknob with Belcha-banna, three Man-skewer Boltboyz, 10 Gutrippaz, and 20 Hobgrot Slittas.
You also get the War at Amberstone Watch, which is the boxed sets narrative campaign. It introduces the two factions, talks a little about the lore, and is a perfect way for players to learn about the Mortal Realms. And if you pre-order ahead of time, you get a box of Coin Malleus Command Tokens:
Next weekend also sees the release of the Age of Sigmar Core Book, which updates the new edition and shakes things up in the Mortal Realms for us all. What happens in the wake of the Broken Realms saga?
You’ll have to wait to find out. The Core Book also comes in a fancy collector’s edition:
And besides all that, you’ll need the new General Handbook Pitched Battle Profiles, which update the points value for all the currently supported units in the game to rebalance them for the new edition.
You can also grab the Pitched Battles book to add 12 new missions to your gameplay roster, and these have been specifically designed for competitive matched play, so if you’re fighting in tournaments, you might see these battleplans.
Finally there’s the new map and miniatures set that details the new terrain that you’ll be playing with in the Era of the Beast. The Ghurish Expanse is a set of double-sided game boards that depict the murky swamps and dusty, barren wastelands of Ghur.
Or if you want some fancy objective markers, the Realmscape Objective Set will add some Sigmarite flavor to any battlefield.
All this, next week!
