Anybody can celebrate a birthday, but only the TRUE fans of Sailor Moon celebrate Mamoru (Tuxedo Mask)’s birthday this year- it’s International Sailor Moon Day! This yearly celebration of the classic manga-turned-anime franchise is a milestone in the international community, with pop-up events and conventions sporting some epic Sailor Moon cosplays.
This year celebrates the Netflix release of ‘Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie’, and the Sailor Moon fandom is thriving more than ever. Japan hosted the legendary Sailor Moon Restaurant and show, ‘Shining Moon Tokyo’ which was the first ever standing Sailor Moon themed restaurant.
