Becoming a Variant is Easy with These DIY Cardboard ‘Loki’ Horns
Want to be a Loki Variant for Halloween or the next convention coming up? These horns are cheap, easy, and fast to create.
One of the gifts the Disney+ ‘Loki’ series gave to fans, beyond an amazing story, is an opportunity to cosplay a favorite character with ease. Variants can look like anything but they all have one thing: horns. There are some crappy pre-made plastic ones out there that are floppy and not worth the cost. These you can make to fit your head and customize for almost free due to the materials.
This build requires a cardboard box, paper, Mod Podge, a pen or stylus to help shape parts, and a hot glue gun. That’s it. To make it even easier, he’s got the template up on his site for $1.99 so you don’t even have to do the guesswork of figuring out what to cut out. It would be really easy to do some modifications to turn the pattern into Sylvie’s shorter, damaged horns if you’re not wanting to be a Loki.
Raphael from Epic Cardboard Props has made some awesome stuff out of cardboard shipping boxes – including Star Wars ships and the t-rex from Jurassic Park. Make sure you check out his channel and his store for templates to create all kinds of awesome projects.
