Games Workshop Rumor Engine: Ceremonial Garb
We need your help with this one – is it some fancy battle armor or ceremonial garb? You tell us.
Maybe it’s both? Whatever the case it’s a brand new Rumor Engine from Games Workshop and I’m honestly getting some Black Panther vibes. Take a look and you tell us what you think.
“Our fabled Rumour Engine has vomited forth another mystery image this week. What in the worlds of Warhammer could it be?”
Clearly we’re looking at some sort of torso with teeth or trophies coming off. Plus there is a funky looking icon in the center. It reminds me of Black Panther’s necklace – but with larger teeth.
So who in the Grimdark/Mortal Realms would wear such a thing? I really wish I had a better look at the icon in the middle. Is that an Aeldari Rune? Maybe a chaos one? It’s hard to tell for sure.
Is this even a chest-piece? I think we’re looking at torso with the arm extending off at the top, but it could just as easily be the back of something (but those do look kind of like abs behind the teeth/icon) – again this one is tough to tell!
I really am struggling with this one folks. At least we can rule out things in armor and power armor in particular – so NOT a Space Marine! But does that make this one not Imperial as well? It’s also NOT a Stormcast Eternal. So at least we can rule out the posterboys of their respective games. Unless this is some newfangled armor type in which case all bets are off.
However you want to slice this one it’s weird and interesting – that’s part of the fun of the Rumor Engines. The other part is sharing your best guesses! If you’ve got any ideas as to what this is please share them with the rest of us in the comments.
