It’s time to check in with the Rumor Engines from last August – how did those end up after a year?
I can’t believe it’s already August and it’s more than halfway over. We better go back to August 2020 to see how the Rumor Engines from that month turned out before we’re in September. Let’s check in and find out what happened with this batch of teasers from Games Workshop.
‘Axing’ For A Friend – August 4, 2020
Status: Solved
This one turned out to be the Halberd of Oleksander Halgrim, the undead captain of the guard from Cursed City.
Tooth & Claw – August 11, 2020
Status: Solved
Well, we had the tooth part right. It’s from the upcoming Mozrog Skragbad model as part of the Great White Squig he’s riding.
Burning Man (Skull) – August 18, 2020
Status: Solved
This one ended up being the newest Nighthaunt hero the Krulghast Cruciator. Creepy.
Flintlock Firearm – August 25, 2020
Status: Solved
This one was a turned at a jaunty angle but it is indeed another model from Cursed City – Glaruio ven Alten III.
So we ended up with all of the Rumor Engines from last August solved. Sweet! What’s funny though is were still waiting on one of these models to hit the shelves (looking at you Mozrog). At least we know it’s on the way very soon. GW does enjoy playing the long game with the Rumor Engine. Now…onto the next batch!
