MTG: The 2021 Judge Conference Promos Are A Rainbow, Shimmery Delight
Come and take a look at the new promo cards for this year’s Judge Conference–get ready to feast your eyes on these rainbow friends.
Magic Judges are a long-suffering lot. They’re tasked with knowing the rules of the game–did you know it has layers?–and answering questions like “what happens if I take my pants off when a player plays a Hurloon Wrangler so that I can block its Denimwalk?”
Or “what happens if I take control of myself with Mindslaver?”
Look if you have to spend your days not only answering rules questions, but trying to make a Magic event keep moving forward, it’s only fitting that you’d be in line for some of the nicest, most elegant rewards in the game. And it shows with the Judge’s promo cards.
And today we have a look at the new September-December Judge Conference Promos. First up there’s Morophon the Boundless:
As well as Zacama, Primal Calamity.
Both of these are excellent cards in Commander, with Morophon opening up all of the colors so you can really Jund ’em out, or Zacama, Primal Calamity who’s one of the best dinosaurs out there right now.
And both of these come in a gorgeous rendition of the old card, so if you want to update your collection, or if you’re looking to fill out your own personal Commander deck, or if, like me, you understand that Ixalan is the best plane and you want everything you can possibly snag from it whenever it shows up, these are sure to fit the bill.
