Total War: Warhammer 3 Release Date Leaked Via Pre-Order Sale
It seems that Total War: Warhammer III has a possible release date, revealed thanks to a pre-order sale launching over the weekend. Check it out!
Total War: Warhammer III is one of the most anticipated releases in the Warhammer gaming ouevre slated for sometime in the nebulous “later 2021” but now, thanks to a watchful redditor, the finale of the Total War: Warhammer trilogy has a potential release date. It all comes thanks to a pre-order special from Shop-To, a Bracknell, Berkshire based company “best known for their expertise and fast-dispatch of video games and electronics Internationally.”
The listing is for a 32% savings on a pre-order of Total War: Warhammer 3 and lists the release date as November 4th. As of press time, the listing was still up on Shop To’s site:
Total War: Warhammer III
The cataclysmic conclusion to the Total War: WARHAMMER trilogy is coming. Rally your forces and step into the Realm of Chaos, a dimension of mind-bending horror where the very fate of the world will be decided. Will you conquer your Daemons… or command them?
Now then we should be quick to point out that it’s entirely possible this is just a placeholder. We’ve seen this sort of thing before; Amazon frequently has placeholder release dates, and for a case in point you can check out the listing for the upcoming D&D Dragonlance novel which initially had a July 29th release date–a date that has come and gone with no sign of a Dragonlance novel on the horizon.
And video games are even more notorious for having release dates that are more what you’d call guidelines than actual rules.
Not that we necessarily want to associate video games with piracy… outside of Black Flag and Sea of Thieves and the like. At any rate, time alone will tell if Total War: Warhammer 3 releases in November, but if it does, you can expect to know sooner, rather than later.
Good luck, generals
