Clean Up Your Hobby Bench With These Great Storage Solutions
I am not sure about you, but I like looking at other people’s hobby area set up. Today, I want to show you mine.
On top of just showing you my hobby space, I am going to talk to you about a problem I ran into. I had too many paints for my existing paint collection. To make things worse, I received a Wargamers Complete Paint Set from The Army Painter. There was certainly no room for those 124 bottles of paint in my set up. I know. There are way worse problems, but I want to show you how I solved the issue.
My Previous Setup
Here is my Hobby Setup. All of those Organization Modules are by HobbyZone and I love them!
Since I did not have any more HobbyZone products on hand, I looked around to see what else I had that would work for storing these paints. In a pinch, you could easily store the paints in the plastic trays that come in that box, but I want them all on my paint desk neatly put away.
Frontier Wargaming Paint Case 2.0
To solve my issue, I pulled my Frontier Wargaming Paint Case 2.0 out of storage. My plan for it was to use when I paint at the Kitchen table for various reasons, and to take to the gaming store with me for whenever I get back to painting around other people again.
The Army Painter
The Army Painter makes quality paints at value prices. The problem most people run into with them is that they don’t know how to use them properly. You have to remove the medium from the top of the bottle before shaking it up and using it. I talk about that process over on my personal website and in the YouTube video below. If that embedded video does not work, you can reach the video through this link here too.
The video above also contains and unboxing of that Army Painter Wargamers Complete Paint Set and also gives some tips about using them while I put the paints away into their new home.
Wrapping it up
Thank you for checking out my reconfigured hobby space. Overall, I am very pleased with my new setup and am happy that The Army Painter Sent me these paints. One of the things that really helps with those paints is my vortex mixer, but that is another post. The Vortex Mixer makes it so easy to shake up these paints. That is the little blue thing in all of the pictures above. You can read more about that over here.
I also have a full review of that Frontier Wargaming Paint Case 2.0 that you see in this post. Make sure to check out that review if you are interested to learn more about the case. Finally, I also have an entire section that discusses my HobbyZone collection.
How about your hobby set up? Do you have any products that you really love there? Let us know in the comments below.
Until next time, Happy Gaming Everyone!!!
