Games Workshop Rumor Engine: A Stern(um) Warning
There’s a new Rumor Engine from Games Workshop and it’s quite the stern warning from the future!
It’s Tuesday which means it’s that time of the week when Games Workshop shows off a glimpse from a future release with the Rumor Engine. This week, it’s looking kind of bone dry…or at least boney. Possibly boat worthy, too. Confused? Maybe take a look and see what all the fuss is about.
“The unknowable device stirs once more, and as it’s a Tuesday it looks like the future’s leaking out of it again. If you’re not already acquainted with the Rumour Engine, then behold its mighty powers of prediction.”
So…it looks like a ribcage which a big metal spike shooting out around the bottom of the sternum. But is that wood under the ribcage? That’s odd, right? It kind of looks like part of a boat in that way. Perhaps a ramming spike of some sort? This could be the boat that sank the Gloomtide Shipwreck:
Wait a minute…Could this be the relaunch of Dreadfleet!?
Well – that would be something! The only other ‘boats’ in Age of Sigmar are of the flying kind and those aren’t made of wood.
If this IS a boat then that’s not a rudder. And what’s up with the ribcage? Are the Undead getting into sailing? The fact that it’s got some wood bits is also interesting. Are we finally going to get some sort of Pirate Vampire army in plastic? Total War: Warhammer II had the Vampire Coast army after-all:
Wouldn’t that be something! I guess we’ll have to wait and see how this one pans out. In the meantime if you’ve got guesses we want to hear them! Drop us a line in the comments and let us know what crazy contraption you think this could be.
