New Weapons Teams from Wargames Atlantic Will Give Your Army Range
Upgrade with these versatile heavy weapons teams from Wargames Atlantic.
Wargames Atlantic really got creative with their Les Grognards Command and Heavy Support Boxed Set. In it, they give you the components to make 28mm command squads and heavy weapons teams for whatever game you are into. These miniatures, specifically, are stylized after historical French soldiers but in a sci-fi flare.
Right now, Death Fields is just a range of miniatures. I keep hoping that they make a game for these unique miniatures, but Wargames Atlantic has not done that yet. Instead, create them for any sci-fi game that you play in 28mm. Because they have no dedicated game system, they do not come with bases. I supplied my own from Six Squared Studios. More on that later on.
The Weapons in the Boxed Set
In the box set, you get four different weapon types, command options, and bodies for the components. You get enough components to build a total of six weapons teams made up of three of any type of weapon that you want.
Let’s take a closer look at a few of them.
More Information
If you want to see more of these weapons, check out this YouTube video below where I give a further in depth review of the kit. You can also get to the video from this link.
If you prefer written content, I have a more in-depth review on my personal site that shows more pictures of the weapon teams, the sprues, and a scale comparison image too.
Wrapping it up…
These Weapons Teams from Wargames Atlantic are a fantastic value. If you are looking for some alternative 28mm sci-fi miniatures, be sure to give them a look. Because these miniatures are intended to be based on whatever game system you play, they don’t come with bases. I bought my bases from Six Squared Studios because they have great prices and good shipping options for those within North America.
You can check out the miniatures from this review on Wargames Atlantic’s Webstore. While you are there, be sure to take a look around their website too. Again, if you want more in-depth detail about these miniatures, be sure to check out my video above or the longer review over on my website.
Until next time, Happy Gaming Everyone!!!
