‘The Matrix: Resurrections’ Action and Hint Packed Teasers are Here
Neo’s story in The Matrix is far from over.
The Martix sequel was announced in 2019. Lana told Variety at the time that “… many of the ideas Lilly and I explored 20 years ago about our reality are even more relevant now. I’m very happy to have these characters back in my life and grateful for another chance to work with my brilliant friends.”
Lana and crew have been tight lipped about the plot of the movie. We learned a bit about the story with the release of the first trailer at CinemaCon – Neo (Thomas Anderson) seems to have some sort of amnesia and is living an average life, but something is amiss in his world. He is thrust back into the duality of his existence when a young man offers him a red pill, revealing his past life to him. Hopefully we’ll be seeing a bit more (but not too much) when the trailer drops later this week.

The Matrix: Resurrections arrives in theaters December 22nd.
