Goatboy’s Warhammer 40K: Black Templar Dread-A-Geddon!
Is it just me or are the Black Templars the best Dreadnought army in the game? Let’s try to prove it.
Goatboy here, and we’ve talked about the Vows but there is one that gives all units a 5+ invulnerable save and when mixed with some fun Grimaldus options you can also give these models a 6+ Feel No Pain which again stacks up to a very powerful set of abilities mixed on some tough models that run around the table.
With that in mind it also makes me think bringing out the ole Venerable Dreads might also be a powerful option as well as they get a stacked 6+ FNP and thus don’t need to always be around the Chaplain and his trusty servitors. So with that – lets create some Dead Frankenstein Robot Magic!

A Vow of Victory!
This armylist is based on a pretty simple idea. You got this crazy brick of Robots with a Tech Marine that can heal them, give them up to +2 attacks, and makes one of them hit on a 2+. Then you got the crazy Black Templar characters to help out. It is a ton of wounds to dig thru and seems like a fun way to go find your old Dreads, slap some black paint on them, and run around the table like a giddie little kiddo playing Robot smash!
