Total War: Warhammer 3 – Terracotta Sentinels Are Brutal Behemoths
Towering terracotta sentinels protect the lands of Grand Cathay–come and see these big beasts in action in a new trailer from Total War.
The Great Bastion of Grand Cathay has held the forces of Chaos and more at bay for centuries. Protecting the people of Cathay, this massive wall is one of the great barriers that lets life continue unimpeded, flourishing, even despite the ravages of Chaos not far from their borders. It takes much to crew the wall–and one of the innovations that the Dragons of Grand Cathay can call upon are the towering terracotta sentinels.
Terracotta Sentinels are indomitable stone giants believed to be created by the Dragon Emperor, that stand guardian over the lands of Great Cathay.
Of course, Total War’s audience being what it is, many focused on the forces of tzeentch, who can be seen haplessly being ground into the dirt by the terracotta warrior.
Here you can see seom cultists of tzeentch (most likely), facing down with the sentinels whirling blades. The Terracotta Sentinel tears through them in the video, and it’s only a matter of time before someone discovers a way to field an entire army of nothing but these stony sentinels and a legendary lord.
