New patch for Baldur’s Gate 3 restores the ability to romance the brooding, beautiful Githyanki warrior. Oh, and other things are fixed, too.

Good news for players, the Baldur’s Gate 3 patch makes the game playable again! A new hotfix has restored the ability to romance Lae’Zel, the Githyanki warrior who joins your party. Players can also actually help the NPC in the prologue, too.

The game addition is great because, well, Devs know that Baldur’s Gate 3 players are horny and only mildly evil. But in my experience, that sums up most D&D adventuring parties.

Apparently the game had been utterly unplayable before the new Baldur’s Gate 3 patch! A bug prevented players from romancing Lae’zel regardless of their approval rating.

You know, there’s probably a lesson in there about how sometimes people can like you but not like you like you, and that nobody’s entitled to anyone’s feelings. But, who’s to say really? Especially when sword lady goes slice.

A number of other bugs have been fixed as well: improving combat AI, smoothing out the Twitch experience, and keeping the game from crashing too much.
