Eternals hits theaters this weekend. Check out what the crew thinks of the latest chapter in the MCU.

Director/co-writer Chloé Zhao (Nomadland) unexpectedly joins the MCU to take on one of the most sprawling, esoteric, world-building tales in Marvel’s canon, the story of the group of immortals called Eternals, originally created by the legendary Jack Kirby.

The ensemble of superpowered beings guides and watches over humanity, but only intervenes with violence when it comes to one specific threat, the beasts called Deviants. After believing they had defeated their monstrous nemesis, they found themselves left to their own devices for centuries.

So why has their creator, the god-like Celestial Arishem, not called them home? And after all this time, when the Deviants begin to reappear, why are they so much more powerful than ever before? This any many other considerably more existential questions will be answered (or at least addressed) in “Eternals”. Chris, Danni, Beau, and Mike gather for a discussion on this 26th MCU film and they do not all see eye-to-eye.
