When vampires get married they travel in style–check out the new Honeymoon Hearse and other spoilers from Crimson Vow.

The days leading up to the wedding of Olivia Voldaren to the sire of the Markov bloodline, Edgar Markov. It’s the wedding of the century and anyone who’s anyone (who is a vampire) will be there, thanks to the endless night happening after the lunar ritual in Midnight Hunt. And what preparations have been made for this vampiric union! Hearses, sellers of blood, and enough vampires to raise the stakes of any game of Magic: the Gathering. Let’s check out new spoilers:

We start with Thirst for Discovery, which is going to help get card advantage, or help dedicated Izzet decks draw into Alrund’s Epiphany on one of their free bonus turns.

And then we have one of the Dracula preview cards, an alt-version of Henrika Domnathi, a legendary vampire gifted with the vision of prophecy.

Transformed, they become the Fiends of Darkest Night:

Or Henrika, Infernal Seer:

Of course you’ll want plenty of refreshments to drink, so there’s the Bloodvial Purveyor to bring you lots of blood–or blood tokens, which will make it even bigger.

And if you’re wondering, Blood tokens are artifacts that have “1, tap, Discard a card, Sacrifice this artifact: Draw a card”. Or if you don’t need blood, there’s always a Headless Rider who can also create tokens, but tokens of a different sort.

After you’ve had your fill, you might want to take a ride on the Honeymoon Hearse:

Of course it’s not all vampires and undead creatures. There are mad scientists throughout Innistrad. Like the Voltaic Visionary:

Who lets you cast a new card and when overflowed with power, becomes a Voltaic Villain, a berserker who can’t block, but who does hit for 4 each time.

Green, meanwhile, struggles hard to bring the dawn as the Old Ways of Innistrad reassert themselves. Which brings about a Glorious Sunrise:

A powerful enchantment to be sure, and one that keeps giving you whatever you need as the game goes on. It’s all about the glory of nature, as is Mulch.

Which lets you reveal four cards and take land cards into your hand and put the rest into your graveyard. But even the werewolves are getting in on the nature action with the Weaver of Blossoms.

Who becomes a blossom-clad werewolf:

A werewolf covered in flowers feels very new Innistrad. But perhaps even more than that, a boarded up window:

This artifact gives creatures attacking you -1/-0 but the window is exiled if you were dealt 4 or more damage during any given turn. Finally there’s a bastion of Innistrad’s natural strength, the Ancient Lumberknot:

This Treefolk has the following text: “Each creature you control with toughness greater than its power assigns combat damage equal to its toughness rather than its power.” Which will be great in any defender-heavy green/black deck.

Yes it’ll be a red wedding, but not a red wedding like THAT. Probably.
