‘The Batman’s Rough and Ready Batmobile Added to Lego’s Garage
Lego’s brick built Batmobile captures the look of the rough and ready vehicle from next year’s The Batman.
The new movie not only brings a new Batman, it includes a muscle car-inspired Batmobile that looks different from the on screen vehicles of the last 20 years. It has call back to the Lincoln Futura’s fins, but that’s where the similarities stop. It’s a sports car on an off-road chassis with a super-powered engine. It looks like a car a mechanically minded guy would build in his garage without an R&D department with a multi-billion dollar budget.

Lego has added the new Batmobile to its collection of Batvehicles. This 1360 piece kit has opening doors and hood, and engine has moving pistons and spinning jet exhaust, and light bricks that make the front grill glow. It also has functional wheels with a rear differential. While it doesn’t have the horsepower the Mattel version has, it looks like a great kit for anyone that’s a fan of the new design.
