Greasus Goldtooth is a new legendary lord for the Ogre Kingdoms, and he is hungry for victory.

Tradelord, Hoardmaster, Tribestealer, Greasus Goldtooth, The Shockingly Obese–these and more are the epithets of the legendary leader of the Ogre Kingdoms. He decided he was too rich to walk, and with a crown of cunning that makes him a terrifyingly dangerous foe, Greasus brings a lot to the Ogre Kingdoms.

What does Greasus do? Creative assembly has a few answers that give a hint towards his abilities. First let’s take a look at his stats:

Greasus’ abilities reflect his cunning ferocity, and his quest is an homage to his great rise to power:

Greasus’ quest battle certainly pays tribute to the Feast at the Fire Mouth battle. He holds some unique and very BIG Names. In addition, expect substantial bonuses to raiding and sacking, and he will never be short of his loyal Ironguts bodyguards.

But Greasus also is larger than life in terms of personality:

Greasus is an interesting archetype, he may not be a transforming dragon lord, but he has plenty going for him. I didn’t want him to come off as overly comical. He is a ruthless and powerful force, so expect to see hints of Baron Harkonnen, Barry the Baptist from Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, and also Deniro’s portrayal of Al Capone in The Untouchables.

If you’re curious as to how the legendary lord plays out in battle, there’s a few sample videos that showcase the Ogre Kingdoms, which you can find below.

In a nutshell, the faction is big, beefy, and brutal. You can see how the sacking and feasting mechanics play out, and Greasus wheels onto the battlefield alongside the Ogre Kingdoms who are available as a reward when you pre-order the game:

With the gluttonous Greasus Goldtooth and Skrag the Slaughter as its legendary lords – which some Warhammer Fantasy Battle fans might recognise as the dominant tyrants of the Ogre Kingdoms – the army looks like a natural fit for Warhammer 3. The race hasn’t yet appeared as a playable faction in the series, and was only later integrated into Total War: Warhammer 2 through a mechanic that let you recruit Ogre mercenaries into your armies.

Creatively Assembly described the Ogre Kingdoms as excelling in long-range firepower and monstrous cavalry. They’re designed to wage war as a nomadic people and will take on contracts to earn new, shiny titles for themselves.

Good luck commanders
