Blood Bowl is getting an impressive new Rat Ogre for Skaven Teams out there. Beware their claws of fury!
Every team should have a Big Guy on the pitch, right? They are fun, mean, and really bully around the other team. Plus, they sometimes do pretty wacky stuff on the pitch and can open up some interesting play moments. That’s why we’re happy to see the Skaven team is getting a new Rat Ogre model.
“Its combination of speed, strength, and animalistic ferocity makes the Rat Ogre a formidable asset. Indeed, were it not for its wild nature, a Rat Ogre could almost be considered the perfect Big Guy. It possesses a brutal blend of Strength 5, Frenzy, and Mighty Blow (+1). The Rat Ogre makes for a great model to put on the line. Aside from all the great stuff mentioned above it also has one more very important ability: a prehensile tail. It might not sound that intimidating but it allows for the Rat Ogre to hold up multiple players by making it harder for the opposing to get around the big guy. Slap him on the line of scrimmage and let him be a problem.
Sometimes having a player that is basically a puzzle for your opponent to figure out is just the distraction you need. Especially for the Skaven team which can sneak off and score with just about any player on the team.
