D&D Accessories: The Witcher Inspired RPG Goodies
Make your next tabletop RPG feel a little more like the Witcher with these accessories inspired by the series, books, and video games.
The Witcher is back for season two and whether you’re a savor-the-season sort of viewer or have already binged every episode twice, it’s not a secret why this show- and the games and books its based on- are so immensely popular. Plus the fantasy elements fit to well with one of our other favorite hobbies; D&D. These RPG accessories will you add a little of the Witcher to your next tabletop session, Dungeons and Dragons or othrwise. As always, links to shops are in the item titles.
Witcher RPG Book
If you’ve been here for a while, you know about the Witcher RPG. Distinctly not D&D, R. Talsorian Games developed this system using the Interlock system, and ended up making a really fun and true to the source material tabletop RPG unique to the Witcher universe. It’s not an RPG accessory as much as an entire RPG, but you should check it out all the same. But while you are playing D&D…
Geralt of Rivia Dice
I picked the Gerlat set, but Viridian Gaming has dice sets representing a bunch of your favorite characters. Each set has a unique design around the numbers as well as for the highest number on each of the dice as well as a coin for those fifty fifty chance scenarios where the face side shows the character in profile. Honestly, not enough sets of dice come with coins, and these all do it so beautifully.
Witcher Inspired Dice Tray
Dice trays are so useful at the D&D table, some days they’re all standing between me and giving my cats brand new toys to bat under the couch never to be seen again. This tray is inspired by The Witcher with a very subtle design that definitely won’t be overbearing or attention grabbing during a game while still looking very cool and sleek. The tray also includes spots to put all of your dice that aren’t in the process of being rolled so you know nothing is getting misplaced or sacrificed to the cats.
Ciri Mini
Just like the dice sets, if you’re looking for a specific character to have a miniature of, whether for in-gameplay use or just to paint and collect, you can probably find just about every character you want. This one features Ciri as an adult with her sword, getting ready to jump into the fight, with tons of thoughtful and lifelike little details.
Witcher GM Screen
This four panel GM screen has aged wood, runes, claw marks, and awesome little functional details like magnets to hold your notes in place. Each piece is made by hand so things like the exact stain color may differ from screen to screen, which means you’d have a one of a kind piece of art keeping all of your plans secret.
