MTG: Kamigawa Neon Dynasty Leaks Reveal Four Cards
A new leak reportedly from Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty appears to reveal four new cards and a booster.
In a story that seems strangely apropos for a Magic: the Gathering set all about the cyberpunk future where hackers roam the shadows between megacorporations, a series of leaks purports to reveal four new images from Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty. These images, which are of the potato-iest quality, appeared first on an MtG discord, but then made their way to reddit.
Now, let’s preface this with all the usual warnings, which are–without verification, and especially given the low quality of the pictures, take all of these with a grain of salt. Nevertheless, check them out:
First up, a picture of a draft booster and a couch in desperate need of a cleaning. But let’s take a look at the cards:
First, the legendary Kyodai, Soul of Kamigawa, who seems fairly tough so long as you can pump them. And with flash and flying, there’s no denying it’s a fun play. But this also illustrates the fantasy vs. technology dichotomy at play in the set. Look at the other batch of cards:
These seem to have special borders/full art and promise some fairly significant power. Interesting to see Takenuma as a legendary land, if true.
At any rate, this is just a taste of Neon Dynasty.
