Star Wars: Four Questions We Need Answered In ‘Book Of Boba Fett’
The Book of Boba Fett is just around the corner. And we have some questions about one of the galaxy’s most popular characters.
With The Book Of Boba Fett coming out in just a few weeks, we’re all wondering what’s in store for the popular bounty hunter’s stand-alone show. And according to Temuera Morrison–
“There will definitely be a number of answers. Some long-winded answers. Some short and sharp answers. Some colorful answers. We’re filling a lot of gaps.”
And that’s a great promise. But now we’re wondering which questions we’ll have answered!
1. How The Kriff Did Boba Survive The Sarlacc Pitt?!
Sure, this question is the lowest hanging fruit– but we’re all thinking it!
Legends already gave us one rendition of Boba Fett’s improbable escape from the giant sand-mouth, but none of that is cannon anymore. There are nearly endless possibilities for how this could have gone down.
What’s more, he somehow survived the Sarlacc but also lost his armor. How did that even happen?
2. Has Omega Made Herself Known To Boba?
This section has spoilers for ‘Star Wars: The Bad Batch’.
The season 1 finale of The Bad Batch revealed Omega to be the only other direct clone to Jango Fett. That means that, in an indirect cloney way, she’s Boba sister.
We also saw throughout the season that Omega and Fennec have some kind of history, making this solid narrative ground for a character reunion.
Does Boba know about Omega at all? How would he react to meeting her? What has she been up to all these years? I have a lot of Questions about Omega Fett and her place in the family dynamic.
3. Is Boba Fett Switching Careers?
The end of season second season of The Mandalorian, Boba takes a seat on Jabba the Hutt’s rancor-decorated throne as if he owned the place. And the trailer for Book Of Boba Fett makes it look like he’s collecting contacts and hosting dinners right out of The Space-Godfather.
It feels to us like Boba Fett has decided to retire from bounty hunting and working for crime lords. Now he’s taking on the role of a crime lord himself. In fact, it seems like he may be aiming to be the crime boss on Tatooine.
4. Will We See Any Of Boba’s Old Gang?
Throughout Clone Wars, a young Boba Fett ran with a group of very prominent galactic bounty hunters. Between disappearing into the Sarlacc and switching careers, it makes sense that he wouldn’t have had contact with any of them in quite some time.
But Boba Fett could be the perfect opportunity for any still-surviving members of Boba’s old gang to make an appearance. Would they get jobs from him like he got from many crime bosses himself? Would they still be on friendly terms or would they consider him an enemy or possibly a mark now?
Who knows! The possibilities are practically endless.
‘The Book of Boba Fett’ premiers on December 29th exclusively on Disney+.
Do you have any other burning questions you hope to have answered on the 29th? Which characters would you like to see make a cameo? Who is your favorite galactic bounty hunter? Let us know in the comment!
